Vestiges commissioned painting incorporates a crumbling structure under a gem mining shop on the river in Lake Lure, unbeknownst to me it would be washed away during Hurricane Helene. It explores the idea of chaos and temporality as well as shifting and overlapping facets…what and who was there and what is coming that we cannot anticipate.
