This transit public art includes painted panels on a bridge, 2 bus shelters, a bus top railing, 6 benches and 6 trash cans. Unfolding celebrates the creative evolution of the NoBo Arts district through vibrant color and native flora and fauna (abstracted marble butterfly wings and showy milkweed). The relationship between artists and society is symbiotic and sustaining—each nourishes the other, as milkweed does the butterfly.
